A Salt & Pepper diamond is a natural white diamond with a dense scattering of visible inclusions- carbon, minerals, and other natural characteristics- creating a speckled, galaxy-like appearance. It's a clarity characteristic, not a separate diamond type or color grade: every stone's pattern is completely unique, which is the point.

Muzo is the legendary Colombian mine- the historic benchmark against which all emeralds are measured. Muzo stones carry a warm, slightly golden green with the internal garden of inclusions the trade calls jardin, prized rather than hidden.

Zambian emeralds, largely from the Kagem mine- the largest single emerald mine in the world- run cooler and more bluish-green, typically with greater clarity than Colombian material. Different geology, different character, equally legitimate.

Brazilian emeralds come from several deposits across the country and range widely in tone, from yellow-green to blue-green. More accessible, still genuinely individual.

Montana sapphires are American-mined, with a palette that leans into muted teals, blue-greens, and soft pastels rather than the deep "cornflower" blue associated with classic origins.
