Salt & Pepper Diamonds
Black and white inclusions suspended through a clear crystal. Carbon, feathering, and cloud that a traditional grader marks as fault- read another way, they are weather. We invented this category in 2005, seven years after the Rustic Diamond. No two are patterned alike, and none can be replaced.
The Rose Cut
Named for the way its facets open from a central point. Domed above, flat below, no pavilion and no culet. Cut since the sixteenth century and never about brilliance- it glows rather than flashes. The flat base gives it a broad face for its weight, and the shallow depth lets you see into the stone rather than off it.
